White Rose Credit Union Team Gives Back During United Way Day of Action

York, PA –White Rose Credit Union employees continued their commitment to our local community by participating in the United Way Day of Action on September 18, volunteering their time at TLC and the YMCA.

The Day of Action gave our team another opportunity to step away from their daily roles and work together in support of organizations serving our community. Employees spent the day lending a hand where needed and helping TLC and the YMCA with their ongoing efforts.

Giving back is something White Rose encourages throughout the year through our Charitable Time Off program, which gives employees the opportunity to volunteer in the community. The United Way Day of Action is one of the many ways our team can get involved, work together, and support organizations that make a difference locally.

“At White Rose Credit Union, we believe in the credit union philosophy of people helping people,” said Bryan C. Smith, CEO/President. “Opportunities like the United Way Day of Action give our employees a chance to work together outside of the credit union while supporting organizations that do so much for our community. We’re proud of our team for continuing to give their time and represent White Rose throughout York County.”

The philosophy of people helping people extends beyond the financial services we provide. It’s reflected in the time our employees give, the partnerships we build, and our commitment to being an active part of the communities our members call home.

White Rose Credit Union thanks United Way of York County for bringing volunteers and local organizations together and providing another opportunity to give back. We also thank TLC and the YMCA for welcoming our employees and allowing Team White Rose to be part of the day.

We’re proud of our employees for rolling up their sleeves, giving their time, and helping support the community we’re proud to serve.
