Important Debit Card Information
All debit card holders will be required to update their PIN effective Monday, November 16, 2020. Please note, your debit card will still function on purchases that do not require a PIN. An updated PIN will be needed to make purchases using a PIN or to withdraw funds from an ATM. To update your PIN please call 800-992-3808; this number is available 24/7.
Important Credit Card Information
All credit card holders will receive a new credit card during the week of November 2, 2020. On Monday, November 16, 2020, members will need to follow the activation sticker on the new card to activate it. Your old card will be disabled. Your new credit card will have a new expiration date.
All credit card holders will receive a second new credit card, with an expiration date of one month later than the first. THIS CREDIT CARD REPLACES ALL OTHER WRCU CREDIT CARDS ON NOVEMBER 16.
Unfortunately, there was a coding error on the credit card previously sent out to you. The second card you will be receiving in the mail will be your new credit card on November 16, 2020. Your previously issued credit card(s) will not work. Please destroy all other credit cards in your possession on November 16. Why is WRCU switching card processors?
As we strive for new and improved ways to serve of our members, we are constantly re-evaluating our options. We partnered with Fiserv to give you a debit and Visa credit card with enhanced security features, additional payment options and exceptional benefits. We are excited and looking forward to working with Fiserv to better serve our members!
When will I receive my new credit card?
All White Rose Credit Union Visa credit card holders will receive a new contactless card mailed to them starting on November 2, 2020. The card will not be active until November 16, 2020. Once the new card is active, members can then dispose of their old card.
Debit card holders will not receive a new card unless requested. Members may do so by emailing our Data Processing Department at DAPS@whiterosecu.com or by calling us at 888-755-9773.
When will my current card stop working?
All current Visa credit cards will stop working at 12:01 am on November 16, 2020. Your newly issued card will be active to ensure there is a seamless transition.
All current debit card holders will be required to update their PIN starting Monday, November 16, 2020. To update your pin on 11/16/2020 please call our toll-free number available 24/7 at 800-992-3808. Please note, your debit card will still function on purchases that do not require a PIN. To make purchases using the PIN or to withdrawal funds starting 11/16/2020, you will need to call and update it using the toll-free number provided. New debit cards will not be reissued unless requested.
I want a new contactless payment enabled debit card. How do I request one?
To request a new contactless payment enabled debit card, members can email our Data Processing Department at DAPS@Whiterosecu.com or by calling 888-755-9773.
White Rose Credit Union Visa Credit Cards will be reissued and mailed starting on November 2, 2020.
Will my new Visa Credit Card have the same numbers and expiration as my old card?
All new Visa credit cards will have the same card number. The expiration dates will be different. The old cards will no longer work beginning 11/16/20.
Do I need to activate my new credit card on 11/16/2020 or will it just automatically start working on 11/16?
Cardholders will need to call the IVR to activate their card and select a Pin (800-992-3808). They can call as soon as the card is received, but important to note that the card will not work until 11/16. (The IVR will not tell them that; it may say something like “your card is activated and ready to use”. )
If I must activate new credit card, will the number be located on the card or in the mailing with the new credit card?
The number to call will be on the sticker affixed to the card.
Will credit card holders need to update all auto and recurring payments?
Yes, since the expiration date will be different.
Will I receive estatements with my new card?
Yes, if you are already receiving estatements, they will continue to.
What will happen to the points I have already earned with the ScoreCard Rewards?
All unused points from the ScoreCard Rewards program should be available on the uChoose Rewards program on Nov 16.
Debit point of sale transactions will earn 1 point for every $1 and credit purchases and credit cash advances will earn 1 point for $1. ATM transactions will not earn points.
Members will automatically be enrolled in the uChoose rewards program. Points will be pooled together meaning if a member has a debit and credit card, the total points earned will be available in the same account.
There is a 1,500 point ($15) minimum redemption threshold. Debit points earned will be available for 3 years and credit points for 5 years. Members will be notified via email and a message in the uChoose portal if they have points expiring in 30 days.
My spouse and I both have White Rose Credit Union credit cards, and I only received one card. Will my spouse receive a card?
All card holders will receive their own cards.
What do I need to do if I have preauthorized or recurring payments that are tied to my existing White Rose Credit Union Visa?
You will need to update your card. The card numbers will remain the same but the expiration date will be different.
Will I be sending my payments to a new location after the conversion?
No, payment will still be mailed directly to the credit union as they have always been.
Will my previous card history transfer to my new card number so I have access to the information if needed?
The history for the loan will not change. Your statements will be generated in the same manner as they always have been.
How do I tell which one is my new card and which one is my old?
